Volunteer Opportunity: Weed and Meet
Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, 9:30am to 11am at Community Space between C and F Pods
The Grounds Committee is hosting a "Weed and Meet" on Saturday, August 2nd from 9:30-11:00 am. If you can stop by to help for a few minutes or the whole time, it would be great to see you there. Our mission is to pull weeds and other unwanted vegetation from the community space between Pod C and Pod F. Bring your work gloves, and spread the word to Neighbors.

A $50.00 fee may be assessed by Cedar Management should there be damage to the property. Residents requesting use of the Pavilion are responsible for any damage to this property. The fee will be r charged if the area is not clean and free of damage.
If the area requires cleaning – or if there is any damage requiring repair or replacement the fee is assessed and any additional costs will be billed to the resident making this request.

Night to Unite (known as National Night Out in some communities) is held annually on the first Tuesday in August.
Night to Unite gives neighbors the opportunity to get together, get to know one another, heighten awareness of crime, drug and violence prevention, and strengthen community partnerships.
Night to Unite is sponsored by the Minnesota Crime Prevention Association.

The Grounds Committee is made up of volunteers who live in Birnamwood and have an interest in keeping our Grounds looking beautiful. We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, March-October, at 4:30 pm at 181 Birnamwood Dr. If you have an interest in joining the Committee, please join us for a meeting. We are always looking for volunteers to join our fun and hard-working team!
