Birnamwood is a unique community within the City of Burnsville, Minnesota. It consists of 222 townhomes on approximately 43 acres of land. There is one entrance and exit to Birnamwood, thus making it very private. It is heavily wooded, well landscaped, and has a number of recreational facilities.
Birnamwood homes offer a variety of layouts and amenities designed to suit a variety of homeowner needs. Our neighborhood features:

Owner-Occupied and Managed Townhome Community
Birnamwood is a member of the “Minnesota Common Interest Ownership Act” and incorporated as a non-profit corporation with 222 members. The Association is made up of townhome owners and governed by an elected Board of Directors.
As an owner of a townhome in Birnamwood, you are a member of the Birnamwood Homes Association, with one vote per unit in deciding homeowner annual meeting issues. The Association owns the common grounds and facilities. The Association elects members to the Board of Directors at its Annual Meeting. These Directors serve without pay, as do the members of various committees who help in the management of Birnamwood. The Association has a proud tradition of volunteerism as homeowners serve their fellow community members. All homeowners are encouraged to contribute to the activities within the committees.
